Eco Friendly Room for a Toddler


This is my son's room... his space where he can read, play, discover and yes, sleep too. I really wanted something gender neutral that would fit his vibrant personality. Choosing "green" decor was definitely a must. We went with a Forest Theme and I must share how happy I am with the result! My son loves his room... and that is all that really matters.

For his bed we thought a futon would best fit his needs rather than going with a traditional toddler bed. The benefits of choosing a futon are that it is low to the ground which will accommodate his restless sleep that might send him straight to the floor... oh and the fact that he thinks beds are trampolines! We definitely feel much safer this way! Another great thing about having a futon is that my son wont be outgrowing it any time soon because it is a twin size bed. When we do go with a bigger bed he can use it as a small couch and a guest bed for sleepovers. Which means we will be
